  • There could be several reasons for this happening, and the solution will depend on why it is happening. Need more info. What are the computer specs? What type of drive is it(specs of the drive). Is the drive showing up in "my computer"?, windows exporer? BIOS? Does device manager report any problems with the drive? How is the drive connected? (IDE cable?, master? slave?, only drive on the cable or with another drive?) Any event viewer error messages? Please give more info.
