  • I just started running one day. I started going a small distance and incresed it every few times I went. I was up to a couple miles and then it started getting pretty hot here in the morning and I dont have running shorts so I was running in windpants so I kinda let it go for a bit. I really need to get back into it tho, I felt a lot better after the first week or so of doing it.
  • First and foremost, start off any running routine with a whole body stretch. According to many studies, stretching is the most important preparation to any exercise. After a thorough stretch, you can vary your running exercises by speed, time or distance. Here is a good site that includes a good training schedule. http://www.halhigdon.com/crosscountry/cross.htm
