  • Never use human medicine for dogs Unless the vet tells you to. The dog could go blind or even die. Talk to the vet about arrangements but don't use your kids medicine on the dog.
  • Human medicine is not always good for dogs. I wouldn't use them. Try to see the vet asap.
  • Call the vet's office and ask them for advice over the phone - they might be able to give you some interim advice or let you come in and pay the bill in 5 days, especially if you are a long-time reliable customer.
  • As a vet tech, we never advise people to use human eye drops. Eye issues are nothing to wait upon. Call your vet and see if they have "Care credit" or if they are able to send you the bill. Be up front about the problem and express you need to make payment arrangements. Don't wait until it's time to "pay up". Good luck!
