No, because a lot of science and archeology wasn't really researched correctly. Those names were common, and the location and other things just do not line up with tradition.

No, I do not. The names Yeshua, Mariam and Yoseph were the three most common Jewish first names in the era about which we are speaking. To find a tomb from that era with these three names linked is not uncommon. It would be like finding a British family in the 1800s with dad John, mum Mary and son George...they were everywhere. What would make James Cameron, the director, think he has found a family tomb for Jesus' family? 1) they were from Nazareth, not Jerusalem, so Joseph would have been buried hundreds of miles to the north. We know almost certainly that he was dead by the time Jesus began his ministry, as he is not mentioned. Jesus began his ministry in Nazareth. 2) the tombs that are being found in Jerusalem are those of the wealthy. Earth was scarce, so tombs had to be dug from the rock. This was expensive business. The poor were buried further out of the city. We can see an example of this in the story of the raising of the widow of Nain's son (Luke 7).(Compare this with the burial of wealthy Lazarus of Bethany: he was put in a rock hewn tomb). The body of the widow's son was being carried out of the town for burial because she was poor. 3)the ossuaries (or burial boxes) discovered by Cameron, were of limestone and very nicely made, indicating, once more, a wealthy family. The poor were put in the ground in shrouds. (as with the widow of Nain's son) 4) there is no mention in the NT of a marriage to anyone let alone Mary Magdalene. The prophecies of the Messiah in Isaiah 53 (Old Testament) say that (v8) "and who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living for the transgression of my people he was stricken". So, no kids for the Messiah, whom Jesus claimed to be. The bones of the so called "Mary magdalene" in the doco are not even in the same tomb as those of the Yeshua. The woman in the ossuary is called Mariamene...which was also a very common name. One of King Herod the Great's wives was a Mariamene. 5) there is no wife, so no son, particularly one called Judah. Jesus had a BROTHER called Judah, who wrote one of the NT books (Jude). If you know Jewish customs, you know that they do not give the name of a living relative to a child. Since the letter of Jude was written c 85-95 AD, this child cannot be a close relative of his. 6) Jesus rose from the dead. There can be no bones, because he has taken our humanity to heaven with him, when he ascended forty days after the resurrection. No one with any credibility is taking this "discovery" seriously, other than as one of many tombs of the wealthy of 1st century Jerusalem. Even from sources not favourable to Christians, the doco is being dismissed. eg Israeli archaeologist Amos Kloner, who was among the first to examine the tomb when it was first discovered, said the names marked on the coffins were very common at the "I don't accept the news that it was used by Jesus or his family," he told the BBC News website. "The documentary filmmakers are using it to sell their film."
