  • The cost of the Obama Health Care Plan will be an estimated $50 to $65 billion dollars a year when it is completely phased into process. The plan will primarily be paid for by discontinuing tax cuts made by the previous administration to people making over $250,000 a year in taxable income. • over a 10 year period, i have heard estimates from 900 billion up to 1.5 trillion
  • I guess the true questions is what is the cost of the health of society as a whole no matter what the dollar amount is.You can have lower taxes with people dropping like flies because of private insurance or a health care plan that includes everyone and pay higher taxes. So in the end it would not matter if it was $10 or a trillion trillion dollars.

  • If you find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time, it could cost you your life.
  • We're not sure which plan they'll choose to go with so a cost estimate at this point is not possible.
  • It has occurred to me that whatever the cost of the Obama Health Care Plan is, it will be far less than what Medicare costs the government right now. Then with the increasing population of Baby Boomers needing Medicare very soon, the amount they will spend will simply bankrupt the whole Medicare System. Then what can the elderly expect when they have paid their Medicare taxes all their lives? Nothing? Think about it.
  • What'll be the opportunity costs of not having a health care plan? Continued shorter life expectancy? high infant mortality? We've already got double the per capita costs of other OECD countries - so - we've given private insurances 50 years of fair going and if they haven't been able to prove themselves in that time, perhaps other options ought to be discussed? How much of these costs are already being paid by inflated hospital fees?
  • I dont know how much it costs i just know it is way to much considering the state we are in.
