I dont think I am responsible for the way people live. I didn't tell people to become drug addicts, or bums. I didn't tell people to move to the ghetto. Everyone is responsible for their own personal destiny. I know I am responsible for me and what I face in my daily life.

My hamster's broken leg in grade 7. Don't buy those metal wheels for them to run on, or at least if you do, look for a safer design than mine had. Or go with plastic wheels. On a more general scale... Anything I didn't have awareness of, but that doesn't include what I didn't have awareness of because of a conscious choice not to. One has to be careful here however though, because time- and energy-wise, it would be impossible to choose to make oneself open to every issue in the universe. We're living in such overwhelming times, and sometimes it seems that globalization has also brought with it a million issues all begging to be heard. Maybe, in the end, I'll stick to the actions of others -but I'd like to add that doesn't exclude being proactive in one's dealings with others, and living by one's values.
