  • I'm sorry but I can't help with this. I just wanted to say I'm also sorry that your first experience of this site was the rude diatribe that you received from Bob Blaylock. Stick around and I'm sure you'll see that this isn't the type of "help" you receive when you ask a question.
  • Yes he is right, you must have a PA drivers license. Most Fire departments in PA are run by the local government, while they are volunteer for the most part, you still have to be licensed in PA. This, from what I understand, is mostly if you're operating municiple equipment you have to be licensed to do so.
  • yes your right, Mr. Bob B. must be awful lonely, and you can see why. everyone else Thanks.
  • I am amazed that you have not been discovered before now. you are a fireman and still do not have a pennsylvania drivers license? in Tennessee, you 30 days to take the written and driving examination, if you are a permanent citizen. this law applies to just about 80% of the states. if you had been in a traffic accident, it would have been really embarrasing to give the officer an Alabama drivers license. not to mention maybe losing your job. Some people have drivers license from two or more states, if they have property in those states. this is just about the only solution to your problem. Find a drivers manual for Pennsylvania, take the tests and be legal, for both states.
