I am sure there are some pretty violent ones out there, but I don't normally watch them. I heard that Pulp Fiction was pretty gory.

The Evil Dead. An early 1980's B-Movie that was subsequently banned from British cinemas because it was so violent

Casino. The baseball bat scene with Joe Pesci in the cornfields is shockingly brutal.

Natural Born Killers. The title's proof enough. I recommend it to everyone. It has a great soundtrack, and can only be described as an LSD trip gone terribly, terribly right!

Straw Dogs creeped me out back in the 70s and I still can't get past the opening of Clockwork Orange.

Either The House of a 1000 Corpses (which was gory and ughh...), or Pulp Fiction.

Doberman, It is a French movie about a Psychotic Gang versus the police, Very Violent and graphic.

Scarface. I think they had to build a special bullet factory for that one just to keep the set supplied. I hated the movie. I know it was supposed to be socially relevant or meaningful, but all that was lost in the hail of bullets and blood from my perspective.

Pan's Labyrinth was pretty violent - not in the amount of violence necessariy, but in the shock value.

I thought "The Passion of the Christ" was extremely violent and disturbing. With the rave reviews and people flocking to see it, I was compelled to go myself. I didn't enjoy or like the movie at all. While it may be a true depiction of Christ's suffering in accordance with the Bible, I didn't come away with a renewed awareness. In fact, I felt depressed and wished I hadn't seen it.

"Faces of Death" is without question the most violent movie made. It detects real deaths. It was disturbing on so many levels.

The Cooler with Alec Baldwin. I was a big fan now I can't stand to watch him, he was relentlessly evil in that movie.

I always thought Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were extremely violent. Maybe it was the "gore factor". If THAT'S the case, there are plenty others out there!
