I've put videos from my digital camera on my windows PC.When playing in iTunes,the picture lags but no probs when I use VLC media player.

You're reading What is the best format to use for high quality video with sound to view on a PC only (Space is not an issue) I just want my movies on my harddrive (Windows Media Center). I tested .mpg(mpeg1) and .wmv and I wasnt happy with the quality.

DVD Shrink 3.2 and FairUse 2.5 are the two programs I am very happy with so far that I have tested . Great quality and easy to use. x264 and XviD
