I have two coins that equal thirty five cents and one is not a dime? Any answers?

    Okay, the answer is....

    The other coin is a dime, and the one that is NOT a dime is a quarter.

    So that is how one of the coins is not a dime.

      Answer to what?  I don't see a meaningful question here.

      I suppose you want someone to identify the two coins.

      They are a quarter and a dime.  The quarter is the one that isn't a dime.

      If there were two coins, and it wasn't the case that one was not a dime, then that would mean that both were dimes, and the total would be 20¢ rather than 35¢.

    yes sure. One is offcourse not a dime. 1=1 , 1 is not equal .10 so the answer is right.
