lot has changed in 4 years. you can get a pretty good system for $500.00. The motherboard and chips would cost you about half that.

How do you use the computer? How have you found yours to be too slow? Which processor do you have now, which OS, and how much RAM? Another thing to think about - Craigslist has some great buys on computers that aren't very old.
