i think it was moses who said "if you break even one commandment, than the gates of hell will open to you". not trying to freak you out. i try not to sin ever. after i dedicated my life completely to god i don't think about not sinning. its just easy.

Nobody in all history has been able to continuously follow all the commandments except Jesus. This is why as a man he alone is found worthy of salvation and is needed to be a perfect substitute for the rest of us.

This is a major problem Christians have, they accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour yet they want to continually place themselves back under the law! Christians are not under the Law of Moses but under the Law of Grace. Jesus gave us two commandments in Matthew 22:37-40. These are the ONLY two commandments we are subject to. To love God with all your heart,mind and soul and to love your neighbour as yourself. Christians are not subject to the 10 Commandments, they are good for teaching however. Christians are not subject to the Law of Moses but here again they are good for teaching. The Hebrew laws were written for a specific people at a specific time. Christians are not those people! IF you can live by Matthew 22:37-39 truthfully then you have no need for the Law of Moses. It is not easy to live by verse 39, it has taken me many years to learn how, and I still occasionally fail.

What commandments is a Christian supposed to follow? I know of only two! Yet most Christians whom claim to be saved and born again insist on following the Mosaic and Levitical laws yet they are not subject to them! The Mosaic and Levitical laws were written for a specific people and for a specific time. Only if a person can live up to them 100% can they hope to enter heaven via those commandments and law. No person can do that! Have you ever worn clothing made of polyester and cotton? you just flunked and cannot go to heaven! The commandment says you cannot wear clothing made of two different fibers. If you want to enter heaven as a Christian you must follow these two commandments only: 1) Love the Lord God with all your heart, might, and soul; and 2)to love your neighbour as yourself. Matthew 22:37-40. OOPS! Answered this question twice! Well if you read you see I said the same thing!

i think gods pretty stumped right now. i kno i would be. cuz everyone use to be christians n jews n all that. now theres those completely insane scientologists who have apsolutely no idea that there buying a lie, and of course u have no idea whats next. homosexualism mabey, klu klux klananaism. it just never ends =. im stickin to what people have been doing since always and just being a good christian. its pretty much the default religion. everyone knows its there, take it or leave it, whatever floats ur boat.
