Make sure it's plugged in. Then, make sure all the cables are attached to the back properly. Then, try and turn it on again. If it's still not working, take it to a repair shop, it's probably a hardware issue.

Sounds like you have the power cord virus. Check to make sure it's plugged in at all connection points. Inspect the monitor, see it it's connected on both ends. If that fails, check your power supply and consider having it replaced.
