Why do people scream when they see a dead body? Do they expect an aimless "AHHHH" to clarify or even fix the situation?

Ha ha... I don't know. Good question. I mean if you are just walking around and not really paying attention. And you spot one..I might say it out of shock. Like when somebody is hiding and then jump out and scare you. Kind of reaction. But no it will not fix the situation.

Maybe it is because of yeah, the shock of the situation, but maybe also because that body belonged to a human, just like us, and that human was a family member, lover, or whatever, and the fact that all of that is gone is maybe what makes ppl scream... Heck, I don't know

i wouldn't i would just be in shock and might slowly walk up to it and poke it with a stick or something. maybe say holy shit and run away. it happened to my pets.
