  • My cat, Lucky, does a lot more than feign illness. He pretends to be amorous and then takes a plug when you try to move away. A bully if you ask me.
  • A vet tried to tell me that my dog was, however, my babies cries told a different story.
  • Not quite, but I had a super intelligent 165 lb. Great Dane. Right after buying my house, I was taking out the vinyl tile floor in my kitchen. The surface was all sticky after the vinyl was pulled off. My Dane would take a few steps into the kitchen, then say wwoorrww, and it took me a minute to figure out he was telling me his feet were stuck. I then helped him take each step by moving his legs one by one as he went out of the room. Ten minutes later, I would hear wwoorrwww again, and he would look at me, then his feet, acting like he forgot the floor was sticky. What a ham! Oh, I miss him so much!
  • Pretend,is a word associated mostly with humans.Animals are always true with their pain and suffering. They can get your attention anyhow by jumping on you, running around you, rubbing their face against you or licking you. If it's limping,it needs quick vet's attention then your personal attention.
  • Oh, yeah! And when I took him to the vet, and the vet examined him, he put him on the floor and that little "asshole" ran around the vet's office like NOTHING was wrong! The vet told me, "He KNOWS who to go to for attention!"! I was so-o-o-o-o embarrassed! I wanted to kick that dog's ass; but he got a KISS, instead!
  • Yes, we had a horse that had been taught to limp for a TV series. One day when we were out riding, every time I went forward away from the barn down the road, he'd limp. Then when we turned back for home, as I was concerned, he'd stop LOL!!!
