  • No. It has some core values that appeal to the sophisticated.
  • no you get what you pay the extra money for security simplicity, and great design.
  • No I don't think so. Other computer brands can be made to be just as good though if you know what you are doing. I still love my Mac.
  • No, but are they attempting world domination? :O
  • Yes. Most people who own Apple product don't rave about Apple, they *WORSHIP*! While it is true that Apple makes a decent product, they are not so uber-awesome that they warrant the prices that Apple charges. Of course, I suppose those that own Rolls Royces and Ferraris feel the same way about their cars. The truth is that I have seen new PCs with the same hardware specs as most Apples for less than half the price and sometimes less than one-fifth. The iPod isn't the greatest MP3 player either. Sure, it's decent, but not freat and there are others jsut as good for half the price. I will take my Sansa e280 up against any iPod Nano any day. The iPhone isn't that great either. In fact, it has a few serious defects. While it's common sense not to expose electronics to water, I am not much for a device that can be ruined by carrying it in your shirt pocket on a hot day (sweat) or will short out spontaneously in the South (high humidity). Then there is the monopoly factor. People complain about Microsoft's anti-competitive practices but Apple won't allow any sort of clones, won't let the iPhone run third-party apps or use a non-AT&T phone plan, and their EULAs are outright draconian.
  • yeah i think so, they do look nice most of them but i dont like the OS. And theyre waay over priced, i mean u can get a similar spec in a normal pc for 25-50% less
