I have been to jail a few times and everytime I had gotten out i did what put me in there. Drugs. If i were to go to jail now the first thing id do is see my kids.

unfortunately I was in that situation not 2 long ago.I was incarcerated for a crime I didnt commit--for 3 1/2 yrs..yeah u read that right..I lost everything.My home of 18 yrs,all my home furnishings,personal belongings,items from when my kids were 1st born 20 + yrs ago,my pictures,all my clothes.every single thing.Including my family..So when I was let out of PRISON ( there is a HUGE diff between jail & prison)the 1st thing I did was breathe fresh air,look at scenery that I hadnt seen in so long while I sat on a bus for my long journey to a cold dirty hotel room that parole put me in ,its a place where homeless parolees are sent.

I would hope my parents or a family member were alive and that I could live with them until I got back on my feet again. I would go to the beach and go and have a nice steak dinner
what is a strip search like in jail? Is it humiliating to have to go through? Also are you tranported from court in chains?

What is the average cost per year to feed, clothe and give medical care to a prisoner? Serving life/say 40 years/would cost what?
