I have the samsung a950, and the memory card for it (micro SD), which works for pictures and video, but I dont know how to put music onto it. What format does the music need to be? Is there something special I'm not doing?

wat files do u have it in if u have it in mp3 try to change it to wma: first u go to My Documents then tools at the top then folder options then view tab then it says Hide extensions for known files. if that box is checked uncheck it then press ok. then go to a mp3 song and it should say song.mp3 now change the .mp3 to .wma it should work. if it doesnt then change .mp3 to .wav another music file

I had the same problem too but you cannot put music on the card through that phone. i have an mp3 player {sandisk e260] that holds the same card. and i use that to add music but you can also use a usb card reader [like this one: http://www.expansys.com/zoompic.aspx?type=item&i=114547] or put it in a different phone and see if you can put music through there
