I don't believe I've ever denied my wife, nor would I. The idea of someone deliberately denying their partner of anything, sex included, disgusts me. Because saying you're denying them of it implies you could give it to them and they want it, but you're saying no just to spite them. Would you (speaking to women in general here) be cool with it if your partner knew of a need you have and expect from your relationship, had the ability and will to provide it, but chose not to in order to teach you a lesson or something? Holding out on each other makes you adversaries, not partners, and only serves to create distance.
