Bad idea. If she gets emancipated (legally becomes an adult) she probably drops out from under her parents health coverage. Not to mention, she has to prove to a court she can take care of herself. You wouldnt be doing her any favors to ask her to grow up faster. 16 is young, let he be 16. AND.... on your end, alot can change in a 16 year olds head. She doesnt need to make any life changing decisions. I know alot of people disagree, but at 16, you just dont have alot of experience usually.

Well in my state a teenager can get legally emancipated or seperated from their parents at 17, but there are requirements to it. They have to hold a job, find a place to live blah blah. So that depends on her circumstances and what the legal age for emancipation is in your state. It also depends on the age of sexual consent in your state.
