Help answer this question below.

If incest weren't illegal or "immoral," do you think it would become commonplace? Or are normal people repelled by the idea independent of the threat of repercussions?

I think people just don't understand, I had sex with my brother. I know it was a bed thing to do but I was attracted to him. I told him he was also attracted to me like i was him. So we both thought that if we have it once it will be done and over with. Turns out i was wrong the same with him. The questioned he asked me was do you ever wan't this to happen again and I said yes. Then i asked him the same question and he gave me the same answer. I was so happy i cried. but we both no there isn't going to be anything between us as much as we wish there could be we can't because people will go crazy and always have something to say.

Incest is illegal but only man made it immoral. Thankgoodness this immoral concept is changing. Incest has gone on since the beginning of mankind. We all are the products of incest! Some very far back some recent but we are all of incestual parentage.

Just as gays had the courage to come out and fight unjust laws those involved in incest should do the same.

- OH and many others as well such as Abraham and Sarah who were brother and sister...God doesn't have a great problem with incest it is the love factor that is important...if you are going to have sex with a family member then love them not just use them this is why God was so angry at Annon he raped his sister and them left her...if he had loved his sister and married her there would have been no problem and maybe never even mentioned in the Bible...If you love the family member and use the proper precautions today there is still no problems with incest in God's Word...His limitations in Leveticus was mainly because of inbreeding problems that can arrise beginning with the third direct offspring in line.

Most people are repelled at the idea of having sex with their offspring (children) or relations (siblings or parents). However, people enter into this type of relationship because of rejection and unhandled emotional conflicts in their lives, seeking to feel better about themselves through sex, which makes them sexual addicts. So, the answer is no, it woudn't become common place, but it would probably be more understood and treatable.

From my correspondence with people who are into sexual encounters with family members, they keep it very quiet and are protected by wearing condoms and spermicide....Its would never be accepted as a commplace, but many people are participating in it.....

- Well that depends some dads have had vesctomies and some moms thier tubes are tied...Its better to be safe than sorry..There is alot of uncle and niece sexual encounters going on to...One must be careful, who wants to be pregnant and ruin your life...Sex is one thing but bringing a child from incest is another...Be SAFE..

It already is commonplace, but people have to keep it secret to avoid the fear and prejudice against it in our communities. People are repelled by the idea, because society is against it, but the moment it starts to happen, it feels so wonderful that you just lose all your fears and go with it. Unfortunately, it's impossible to calculate the percentage of people who have experienced it, because of the need for secrecy, but one famous psychologist who specializes in it says that from his experience, if you count *any* incest, even the people who have done it just once and never again, then the figure could be as high as eighty percent, in his estimation.

- What is normal? I think they are sexual free and don't think anything wrong with it..I feel its a primal urge they cant control within themselves...A switch is turned off, and they don't see a family member as family, but a human being for sexual activity...For them its sexual pleasure and release with someone familar...

- Wow I didn't realize this was a pro-incest forum. But as for your question normal would be the group of people that fit into the societal average (or normal). I suppose in this situation it would be whatever the most people believe. Insect law is pretty much based on child abuse and the church. Besides most people believe of insect as something that one person is forcing on another as in a father on a very young daughter. While insect is and can be between two consenting adults. To much is linked between insect and child abuse so I think the majority of people would see them as one and the same and they would be pretty much repulsed by the idea.

Incest aversion is instinctive. Incest is a universal taboo precisely because human beings innately reject it.

Incest avoidance is instinctive due to the negative consequences of inbreeding.

The taboo against it is merely the sociological manifestation of that instinctive aversion. The taboo is not a social construct but a biological imperative.
