  • I used to do it all the time when there were always people around shouting or crying or stuff going on at school or with friends... it usually made me feel better because I didn't have to tell anyone and get embarassed about how I felt, but I didn't have it on my shoulders any more. It made it easier to face it the next time. It's also nice to read them and look back and see how much better everything is now.
  • I like doing that. It was a type of safety release vavle for tension I was recently brought to my attention that these writings might intensify my feelings (-) at this point. i still do it but more controlled and not habitually.
  • You bet it does. In fact, studies have shown that hospital patients that write out their feelings heal faster.
