You can view the posts to the back from the moment you have created your facebook (the same about other accounts), just click "Older posts" till you find what you want. So there isn't time limit. :) And there isn't specific search for the date, you must find the posts on your own.

The only way I know:
Go to your account settings, create an backup-archive.
Wait a couple of minutes. FB should send you a link. Now download the backup(html in zip archive).
You can now use the SEARCH FUNCTION of YOUR BROWSER (usually cmd-F).
I do this regularly to keep an off-line archive and do searches on old posts...
Works fine, but don't forget: anyone who uses your computer may see everything you have shared and written on your wall(whatever the sharing options you used)... the pics and vids you send on-line.
So keep it in secure place... and don't leave the link in your adress bar
Though, you will not be able to see what you had written on others walls nor groups...
