I'm freaking out! My dog keeps barking and tensing up at the air. I've read that dogs do that when they see ghosts. What should I do? It's been going on for hours ( since 1pm today) . My dead grandfather's b-day is coming up. Could it be him?

Whether it's your Grandfather, some other ghost, or nothing at all, do you need to do anything? I don't think you need to fear the presence of ghosts, especially the ghosts of people you knew and loved. And if that's not enough to put your mind at ease, dogs often bark at noises that are beyond human hearing, so there may be something else that's just out of your range that's annoying your dog. e.g. an alarm clock in your neighbor's house that was left on while they were out, or the electrical hum from the power pole outside your house.

Your dog has more senses then we do. If they see something they will let you know. To see what they are seeing, rug a little of the makapiapia off there eyes and rub a little into your eyes. But be prepared to freak out.

It is, more than likely, the scent of an animal that disturbs your dog coming in on a breeze.
