  • some does dont pull fur until a few hours before birth but put some extra bedding in her nest box.
  • Some rabbits pull their fur just before, but most do it on the 28th day of gestation. And 5 months is really too young to be a healthy mother with healthy kits. It's best for a rabbit to be at the minimum age of 6-7 months old for dwarf breeds, 7-8 months old for medium sized rabbits and up to 10-12 months old for the giant breeds. They CAN breed before that but it's not healthy for them, even the bucks. Hope everything turns out okay for them.
