The problem of evil is the problem of “incompatibility” between the existence of the Christian God and the reality of evil. Atheists criticize that the existence of an all-good God is impossible in the face of evil. The formulation of arguments concerning The Problem of evil from the atheistic point of view is like below: If God exists, then God is omnipotent, omniscient, and morally perfect. 1. If God is omnipotent, then God has the power to eliminate all evil. 2. If God is omniscient, then God knows when evil exists. 3. If God is morally perfect, then God has the desire to eliminate all evil. 4. Evil exists. 5. If evil exists and God exists, then either God doesn't have the power to eliminate all evil, or doesn't know when evil exists, or doesn't have the desire to eliminate all evil. 6. Therefore, God does not exist. Christians believe that God exists and that He is omnipotent, omniscient, and morally perfect. Christians also believe that evil exits. The question of atheists is how a Christian can believe in both?
