I don't believe Christ would want you to kill anyone for him. "Forgive them father ..." and all that. However, sadly, many people take up their own cause in Christ's name, regardless of whether it's aligned with his teachings or not. I personally wouldn't kill anyone based on someone else's orders, holy or terrestrial.

No one and anyone who kills and says it's in the name of Christ or God is sadly deusional to murder is a sin .The people who do that i would call religious but not Christian Jesus said we are to love our neighbor as ourselves and we should forgive those that do against us.No where did Jesus say go out and bust a cap on they arse .

No true religion asks its adherent to kill in the name of religion. Jesus would be disappointed if you kill even an ant in his name. Peace.

This question brings the "just war doctrine" down to a personal level. Many churches have a formal stance on whether war is ever acceptable and if so, under what circumstances. Ask your priest/pastor/minister/preacher, you may be surprised.
