Yes, you can buy a home in east Tennessee, for less than $100,000, either in town or in the country. The home in town would be very basic, but you might even find a charming little cabin up in the mountains, too, for that.

Not a home on land and able to be lived in, however a relocatable home in need of renovating and not on land can be bought for such a price.

Doubt you'd wanna live in it if you could....If you wanna live in a safe neighborhood, and in a safe house.....You're looking at at least 500K.

No. Homes around here start from around $800,000 up to the mid-range millions.

Yes, you can sometimes buy a decent home for $80K around here.

Well, technically you can get a really shitty place for about $250,000. But a decent place will start at 500
