For new categories, I believe you must answer at least five questions, and be rated on all of them. For the others, I BELIEVE it's just based on points - When you make more than the current expert, you become the new one. It's POSSIBLE that it also requires that you answer more questions in the category than the current expert. Don't worry too much about it, and just answer the questions you can and wish to. Let it be a surprise, as it was for many of the current experts. ;-)

You aren't an expert. I would come closer than you.=DDD

When you become the expert in a category you will have a drop down tab added to your profile and then you will be able to click on the tab and see your categories.
