Not sure if it is th' color red - or th' thing that is red. My chickens love red - if it is very small and something they can eat, like meat or red flowers. But if it is a big red thing, like a flag they will spook and run. Once a GF came over who was wearin' a long brown n' white spotted skirt. Those poor ol' yard-birds almost got stuck tryin' t' get in that chicken coop all at one time. Must have thought it was a owl or a hawk flapin' down after them.
