Yes, unless you are aiming at your head. I've been depressed many time to the point of fantasizing about suicide; I never attempted it because I am not done with my life. It's only out of an overwhelming sense of hopelessness that those thoughts get to you. Things always eventually get better. You cannot undo it, but you can make things worse by going through with it and SURVIVING! The fact that you posted the question means that death is not what you really want. You're asking for help, so please get it from an appropriate source before you REALLY screw things up!

Hey, sloppy, don't do this. Your son needs you whether he was kidnapped or not. You have legal rights. You are not thinking clearly. Do not, I repeat, do NOT do this thing! Your son will suffer for the rest of his life and so will your other loved ones think of them, please, I beg you, think of them, my husband capped himself last year, I can't get over the pain and the guilt, but he had other problems. Its a rotten thing to do to yourself and others. You need to live and fight, that's the way to go. Trust me on this.
