Why is it the more "politically correct" world we live in, the worse our younger generations act-respect for your elders has gone out the window

It's several things one is people don't raise their kids anymore they just drop them off at daycare, or have full-time nannies, also how do you expect the child of a seventeen year old to learn respect for their elders or eachother, when their parents aren't even out of high school yet?

That is a very very GOOD question. - Wish i knew the answer. Is it possible those two are connected. I see more an' more kids growing up like me. Bigger an' bigger demands on 'em from a world with less an' less investment in 'em. All those adults that are preachin' "political correctness" are far, far away in some other strata of society - an' barely aware yet of th' ground beginin' t' crumble down below their feet. Wonder if that was how it was before the ancient Roman Empire fell? Except this time t' entire planet appears to be going. Becoming a Big Brother or a Big Sister could help - if there were just enough people t' go around - but there aren't. Maybe th' only way to stop it is t' stop making babies in poverty. Any ideas? As i said - Wish i knew the answer. ???

The term politically correct really means saying what is least likely to offend but seldom what you actually mean - the world isn't more virtuous, just the language used to describe it.
