  • I do agree. Women tend to be more tuned into the emotional sides of people than men are.
  • I would agree. They seem more intuitive when it comes to human emotions, that is every human but themselves :P
  • I agree. Men tend to either lack or ignore intuitive information. I don't know why. The result is women, as a general rule, "read" people better.
  • Women seem to read emotions more than men. However, I find that they are not right at least 50% of the time and try to be amateur psychologists. Since they don't have the training, they can do a bad job of it.
  • I think it's because woman learn from a young age to discern from watching their mothers. They become more perceptive than men do. I agree with you.
  • I think it depends on what is being read.... I know men who have memorized the scores of every major league baseball player ever and are struggling to read the newspaper... + 5
  • It's just the truth almost all men don't care as much as women do about emotions, also people that refuse to talk about anything at all just can't read people :)
  • I agree with that assessment. Men sometimes can't see past a pretty face.
  • I agree with you also. Women are more attuned to the emotional needs of others. I know some men who can be dead-on in their character assessment of a person, though. I've always admired that. +5
  • That's probably true, as I am easily distracted by things that are curved or jiggling.
  • Though I agree with you that women do tend to "read" people better, I must stress that you ARE being sexist. More so in this question. Your long qualification at the beginning indicates it very clearly, despite your assertion of greater sympathy with men. Which, too, I doubt, considering that a number of your questions, answers and comments have a sexist slant. There's nothing wrong about being sexist per se, mind; we all have our biases. Let's not couch that fact.
  • Hey, I'm a man, and if we're talking about on average, yes I agree. There's always gonna be that one man who actually paid attention to school rather than his pecker though. But those guys are way too rare nowadays. But I'm rambling, so yeah, I agree.
