  • Offer it to someone else... or just ask them for something else lol. I'm not sure.
  • They want to make sure you aren't just wasting food, and it's typically against the rules to eat just the fish and leave the rice. So figure you can only get away with leaving something uneaten once per meal. Start with things you know and like, and late in the meal try ordering one thing that you're not sure about. If you like it, you can try another thing you're not sure about. If not, you could call that the end of the meal OR try to explain that you simply didn't like that one and want something else.
  • Do your experimenting in larger groups, that way you are less likely to leave food because there is usually someone there that'll like what you ordered. Or you could just go and eat when it's not all you can eat. That way you can eat what you want, and leave what you don't like. Generally when I go to all you can eat sushi, I order what I like. And a lot of it.
  • Don't you have friends who like sushi? If so, go for dinner with one ore more of them and do not go for the all you can eat, but let your friends order things they think are good. If you like it, you can go for an all you can eat and try more things.
  • If you mean like buffet style? If there is a decent se4lection and it is iced or kept on cold tables? then it is okay... *Steer clear of the "White tuna." It is actually escolar and can cause explosive results down under if you eat too mcuh! If it is in a restaurant you usually get california rolls. Big whoop! You can get them in a gorcery store.
