  • Can they really do that?!! I just don't think you should be able to chose things like that.
  • I totally disapprove. Of course i totally dis-approved of them buliding a new shoprite across the highway (across the union border to a different local) but it's the will of the majority that wins in important issues.
  • I like the idea if it would make the parents and child happier. And i understand that some traits (red hair) are about to go extinct if left up to nature. I would hate t' see that happen.
  • I loved being surprised by even the sex of my child...my first Grandchild was born a surprise also....and she is beautiful!! What nature givith let no man mess with..(or woman)....
  • I think it's unnatural! I mean I could certainly understand it if they were altering dna to change a birth defect or something but it just seems wrong to potentially change who they will be.
  • that's sad
  • I think it is a gamble, even if the human genome has been mapped, science isn't certain how genes interact with each other. Also, I'm not partial to "creating" humans with specific attributes. It is a little too close to breeding cattle or dogs for their attributes. Creepy.
  • I would rather they did not play unnecessarily with the genes. the slightest error could have horrendous consequences.
  • I think it's crazy ... and unnecessary.
  • It's ridiculous. I could see why people might do that if red hair was dying out, but apparently it isn't at all, that's just made up. So for now, at least, it's a stupid idea. It's all about control. They aren't possessions, they are people!
  • It's wrong on so many levels. It very possibly can have terrible side-effects. I would never do it, that's like slapping God in the face.
  • That's so scary to me. It's horrible, scary and sad.
  • People be doing too much.
