The worst part is that the judges/courts rule in favor of the women regardless of the circumstances. It's difficult knowing you can NOT get a fair shake and can't do anything about it.

Currently going through an amicable divorce with one child involved, together for ten years. Time heals all wounds is cliche, but does hold some merit in divorces. In time you will become happy (or happier) and thoughts of the other or their daily activities will seem trivial and not worth your time. One of the hardest things for me to come to grips is the thought of my soon to be ex with other people, was never the jealous type but can not help feeling a little jealous. Losing friends is difficult as well, you start realizing that "jimmy and Sue" do not call you any more and you hear they are still doing things with the ex. But overall most difficult is paying the lawyer.
