I have used my laptop bag as a pillow while traveling in train half asleep. But using the answerbag as a pillow is somewhat unthinkable.

Yes. I often wake up after getting just a few hours of sleep & getting here on AB. So sometimes I have been half asleep....not always though.

Yes, I've used answer bag when I was wide awake right up to and including being half asleep and having to retype the same sentence over again.
