Why is it okay for women to tell one another that another women looks beautiful though it's weird for men to say that they look beautiful?

That's a good question actually :) I guess the word "beautiful" is more commonly used for women anyway. I don't know a time when I said to a guy that he was "beautiful" :) I think it would seem kind of weird, and sound strange. But even if men call each other "handsome" it still doesn't quite fit. I don't know whether I can quite answer this question really. Sorry, I did try with the explanation at the beginning of my answer though xD

Because if a man tells another he is "beautiful" he would sound Gay... and most men do not want to be called that... + 5

Because women are more highly evolved and mature regarding this issue. They recognize that attractiveness need not include sexual attraction.

Many women feel that men who say that have ulterior motives, and in many cases, it's true. (They don't seem to realize that it's just possible that some WOMEN could have ulterior motives, too. ;-) )
