  • The Redirected Drive Buffering SubSystem (rdbss.sys) is a Windows system driver. Microsoft has a couple of knowledgebase articles that might be of some help resolving this issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329175 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319026 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/264959 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324224 Microsoft suggests upgrading to the lastest service pack to resolve the issues with rdbss.sys getting corrupted. Use SP4 for Windows 2000, SP3 for Windows XP, and SP2 for Windows Vista.
