  • NO but I would ask if you down graded the memory to 384 or did it just disappear or is it a game machine with shared video memory, in either case your probably going to have to buy more memory so go for at least 2 megs and if possible 4 and maybe a different video card with another dedicated 2 megs just for starters .. ~Nemo~
  • That's strange. Long time ago, I had an old Windows NT machine that had a bad memory module. Each time the machine booted, it would report less and less available memory for that module. I would suspect in your case that 128 MB of RAM is being allocated for video. Either that or someone pulled a memory module from your PC!
  • To boost the ram you already have you could install the freeware program FreeRAM XP Pro. Might help you a little bit.
