  • I'm guessing that they want you to buy more bottles of it, and the best way is to reduce the price, as low as possible. If the alcohol was selling for $1/bottle, then 50¢/bottle would encourage more people to "stock up," right? Makes perfect economic sense, to me. +5
  • By reducing the concentration of alcohol in the mixture you change the hazard rating from 'highly flammable' to 'flammable.' This reduces the safety requirements in production, transportation and reduces the number of safety inspections required in the process.
