  • There are a few factors at work. How many fish in the water? How many bacteria? Is the body intact (say drowning) or was the body cut open prior to being dumped? There would be some swelling (bloating) of the body, the temperature is low enough to slow down decomposition of the body due to the internal stuff that causes bodies to rot (gasses, bacteria, chemistry, etc). If there are not many fish then there may be no nibbling - if there are lots of fish, or sharks etc, then there could be extensive damage caused by hungry critters. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/190457.html might make for an interesting read, the person goes into depth on many of the facets of decomposition of the human body.
