  • Disclaimer: I am currently studying Physics in college. I believe that both are equally important. However, I view math more as a tool to work with the concepts and innovations in science. Math, to me, is strictly a means to a scientific end. Science deals strictly with the world at hand and to me seems much more relevant and exciting.
  • Math, because you can't interpret the results of your science without math. Science is written in math. Even a simple experiment needs statistics to measure whether the result was significant, or just accidental.
  • Great question! I think science is more important, especially if you understand science for what the word means, which in Latin means knowledge. It is the study of laws, of cause and effect. Every other field works because of a science. There is a science to math, it is what makes adding, subtracting, matrix algebra, quantum physics, and all of these other mathematical phenomena to work.
