When a child believes their father was abusive, as Michael Jackson did, and made them into the twisted sick thing that he was, it is difficult to be generous to the man.

I have heard his father was abusive and some other stories about Joe Jackson. As for fathers not being appreciated, it seems to be common.

Not if he was an A hole during your growing life ... From what I have read and see, I don't doubt it. I think many of Michaels personality inadequacies were a result of his growing up within that early family environment. Peace

We do take our dads for granted. I saw an interview that MJ did and he said that he used to be home schooled and then made to practice 5 -6 hours a day with the Jacksons and he could see and hear the other kids playing in the park and he used to cry. I think Joe Jackson used to push MJ to much.
