That's their prerogative.

It doesn't make me feel anything. I do however hate and disagree when people claim that if you don't back the war there's no way you can back our troops. That's absolutely false.

That has been the case with some people in every war. These will be the first people crying to be protected, all the while protesting the military. Nothing can be done about their feelings, they have the right to feel or think whatever they want(I find them to be hypocrits, but thats my opinion)

That's the beauty of living in a free country. People can do things that most others would disagree with. (Within limits, of course.) Protecting the ability of others to disagree with them is what a soldier does.

I look at it as every person serving is related to someone, everyone in there has family and or friends who love and care about them. I'm not fond of any war- I don't think too many people out there WANT a war anywhere between anyone. Regardless I just care about the people involved.

It pisses me off. Men and women are out there dying for this country and the people they are protecting bashing them. My whole family has been in the military and so have I and my husband and I dont think that Americans really realize how blessed they are to live in such a wonderful country. In Africa raiders raid villages, take slaves and cut womens breast off so they can not feed their babies. In the middle east families where paid to send there young children to go blow them self up at a building or certain site. If someone has a problem with this country they should just leave then and make more room for people who can appreciate what this country offers. Im not saying all of America is perfect but it is the best place to live in the world. Yes people have freedom of speach but the reason they have it is because of the military defending this country. The reason we dont have to worry about walking down the streeet and an IED( Improvised Explosive Device) blowing up is because we are safe here from other countries because of the military defending us. I am not saying you have to support the war or all of our governments ideas, but at least you should defend the people who are keeping you safe.

Some may not, but I believe most DO support the troops, despite whether they support the military or not. A LOT of people "learned their lesson" when the Vietnam soldiers returned, and it took them so long to get readjusted because of the animosity people felt toward them. If you think about it, also, many of the soldiers of today probably have parents that treated the troops back then so shabbily (protesters, etc.), or who were solders IN Vietnam. For those who don't support the military... That's your right. For those who don't support the troops... Shame on you all.

It makes me feel that freedom has a price.
