  • tilt the glass...used to own a bar, it was a regular thing I had to teach my bar tenders.
  • Tilt the glass until it is 3/4 full and then straighten as you fill. Guinness--- Pour very slowly to make sure you do not have all head and no body . Use a guinness scraper to flatten the head to the glass. It is difficult to explain how to pull a pint but a good knack to have.
  • Tilt the glass as much as you can as you begin to pour it, as it is filling up, slowly tilt the glass more towards an upright position but make sure to do it slowly so that you do not cause any excess carbonation to effect the taste.
