Has an atheist ever knocked at your door during dinner then asked to pass out literature about there being no god? I kind of have a hunch the answer is uhhhm...NEVER?

Your point is? Im not too big on religion either but examine it for minute. What does an atheist feels like he has to gain by teaching people all they have to look for is a dirt nap for the rest of time? People in religion feel as if they are saving you from hell or whatever punishment they believe and giving you eternal life so to compare these things is kinda stupid. It's like comparing a Pass happy football team to a running football team and asking the question when was the last time a running football had so many interceptions when you know their goal isn't to throw the ball? Different styles will produce different results

Look, I'm an atheist too, but I've learned that any questions concerning the existence of god are completely useless. You're NOT ever going to persuade people from their religion, and it doesn't matter how much logic, reason, or scientific theory you throw in their faces. They base everything on "faith," so you're really just beating a dead horse here, sorry to say.

Nope, never happened. I've only ever had christians harass me in this fashion. I think knocking on people's doors to preach is very bad manners.

No, not my house. But once I was going in a Christian oriented store 'Lifeway' and there were 5 possible Atheists (was not confirmed) in their early 20's hanging around the curb in front of the store. They were saying terrible things and looked ridiculous, they had put upside down crosses on their forehead in permanent marker. As my friend & I were walking in, one of them darted for my legs to pull my skirt down. I grabbed my waist and slapped the mess out of that boy ¬.¬
