Manuel Zelaya is a member of the Liberal Party of Honduras not one of the social parties.(there are two) When did Obama say he was against it?

Anyone who cares about the rule of law would be concerned. The lawfully-elected president (who is a leftist, NOT a socialist, by the way) was ousted in a military coup. The congress has knuckled under and *chosen* a replacement for him at the behest of the military. Obama has only said that he is "deeply concerned," adding "I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter . . . Any existing tensions and disputes must be resolved peacefully through dialogue free from any outside interference." Other countries, as well as the Organization of American States and the General Assembly of the United Nations have condemned the act. So what, did you expect Obama to say nothing so you could point out how weak he is on hemispheric politics?

Should he not be against a legally elected official being physically removed from office by a military coop?
