After my Father died, I worked a full time job, part-time job, in grad school part-time, and cared for my elderly Mother. While occasionally I met someone I was attracted to I did not act on it or respond. It's not that I wasn't interested, just too overwhelmed, tired and stressed to develop and maintain a new relationship. Married or single, I think we go through phases in our lives...

I have never gone through a phase where I didn't feel physically attracted to very attractive women, but I have gone through phases when I simply wasn't interested in pursuing those feelings.

Yeah. I think it was just life's way of telling me that I wasn't ready to get back in the game yet... Then again, if you've been with the best, it raises the bar. And everybody else starts to look like a runner-up prize.
