  • You refer to the method of domination known as Divide and Conquer. Bequeath a little here & there & soon they will work for you. Look, no one questions that historical fact, but there's more to the story. One should be careful though to note where this line of reasoning is heading. Namely, that slave traders weren't so bad because the Africans were doing it too. If you really have interest, look at the journeys they made inland to get the slaves and the trips. They were just as horrific as th sea crossings. Both parties engaged in the practice, but blaming the Africans is an apologists argument. I'm not saying that's what peroson meant when he wrote wuerry, but many use it for that. Another thing, they weren't simpy African people. They were members of literally hundreds or more tribes all over the continent. Hardly one unified people.
